I've been so caught up with finishing graduate school and working, I have not been updating my blog.
Here are a few tiny drawings to start a new era of regular drawing and posting.

Its been a while!

I've been teaching stop motion animation full time at the Children's Museum of the Arts and have been so busy this summer that my blog has been neglected! Here are a few new drawings.















Also to note, my website (laurabellmont.com) is also in flux at the moment. Should be back up and running by November.

Here is a small animation from another of my workshops at The Children's Museum of Art in Soho. These kids are super talented and so fun to work with. Cutting paper turned out to be a blast

Here is the stop motion animation from last week's workshop. I was inspired by the work of Allison Schulnik . The kids worked together and made this amazing study of clay.

Children's Art Museum Spring Art Colony Short Film!

I am so thrilled to be teaching at the Children's Museum of Arts in Soho. The Media Lab has adopted me and I have been learning all about the wonder of stop motion animation. Its been a while! I have been up to my ears in grad school and teaching at the Children's Museum of Art, but managed to get a little drawing in at my dreamy husband Sam's studio last night.
