More Color for Winter

More Color work thanks to the computer. I am working on refining and controlling my methods. These are from a series about the theater. More to come....

Terrariums and Miniatures

Here are some terrarium gardens that I created with the help of gardener extraordinaire Missy Bateson (batesongardens.com)
I made little sculpey statues for each. This is a developing idea- I have always loved to make miniatures and now they can exist in real environments. Terrariums are great because the plants are tiny in scale and they take very little maintenance.

Here are some pieces I have been working on using the computer to fill in the color. I have been shy about color in the past- there are so many options, so many combinations, it is like infinity. I like the commitment and simplicity of black ink on paper. Here's to new endeavors!

New Maga at Printed Matter

Click here to go straight to the Printed Matter page announcing the arrival of my "Maga" (short for Magazine). My friend Rachel Domm invited me to submit something for their collection. I am very proud and honored to have work in their inventory. Go over and check it out if you are local.

New Years Party Project

I was commissioned to dress up a very raw industrial space for a New Year's party. Here are some photos of a work in progress. It was an ambitious project that had to be designed and put up in one day. Many thanks to my right hand woman on the project site Miss Missy Bateson. She has a great understanding of construction (batesongardens.com)
